Workshop Description

PRINCE2® (Projects in Controlled Environments) is a process-based methodology that provides the essentials for project management. It is widely used internationally and is the de-facto project management standard for public projects in the UK and it is also very widely used in Hong Kong. The PRINCE2® 7 Foundation is designed to introduce the PRINCE2® method, providing sufficient knowledge and understanding to work effectively within a PRINCE2® supporting environment. The Foundation certification is also a pre-requisite for the Practitioner certification. PRINCE2® 7 Foundation is the latest version released in 2023. To reach the PRINCE2® Project Manager title, you need to take the PRINCE2® Project Management Foundation and Practitioner modules (Version 7 only).

This certification is aimed at current and aspiring project managers or professionals who manage projects. It is also relevant to other key staff involved in the design, development and delivery of projects, including: Project Managers Programme Managers Project Team Managers (e.g. Product Delivery Managers) Project Board members (e.g. Senior Responsible owners) PMO Managers Project Assurance (e.g. Business Change Analysts) Project Support (e.g. Project and Programme Office personnel) Project Officers Operational line managers/staff.

Examination Details

Duration: 60 minutes 60 questions per paper 36 marks or more required to pass (out of 60): 60% Exam Format: Multiple Choice Exam Location: Anytime and anyplace with PeopleCert Online Proctoring / paper based exam Closed book exam.

Professional Development Units (PDUs) Attendees may be eligible to apply for 21 PDUs toward their continuing education requirements with the Project Management Institute (PMI) for PMP®, PgMP®, and PMI-ACP® certifications.
