Workshop Description

The Coaching Conversations Micro-Credential equips professionals with foundational coaching skills such as active listening, presence, and powerful questioning to foster individual and team growth.

Audience

Individuals curious about coaching, but not yet ready for a longer learning journey. Professionals in leadership roles eager to enhance their skill sets with coaching techniques.

Learning Outcomes

Define coaching and the coaching conversation. Describe the foundational coaching skills (presence, active listening, and powerful questions) and how to use them in a coaching conversation. Compare and contrast how a coaching conversation is different from other types of conversations. Describe how and when to use a coaching conversation.

Prerequisites

Foundational knowledge of agile principles, values, and mindset. Agile coaching experience is recommended.

Professional Development Units (PDUs)

Professional Development Units (PDUs) Attendees may be eligible to apply for 4 PDUs toward their continuing education requirements with the Project Management Institute (PMI) for PMP®, PgMP®, and PMI-ACP® certifications.
