Workshop Description
The Building Emotional Intelligence Micro-Credential enables professionals to strengthen self-awareness, self-regulation, and interpersonal skills to enhance their leadership effectiveness.
Audience
Individuals wanting to grow their Emotional Intelligence to have a greater impact within a business context Professionals eager to enhance their one to one and one to group/team relationships by being better at knowing their own emotions, emotional regulation, and communicated responses to others, and better reading others communication to discern their emotional content.
Learning Outcomes
Define the components of emotional intelligence (self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management) Describe the role of emotional intelligence in building and maintaining healthy relationships with individuals and teams and how this inspires and aligns teams toward shared goals. Apply one or more self-awareness techniques to set multiple goals for self-development.
Prerequisites
Foundational knowledge of agile principles, values, and mindset. Agile coaching experience is recommended.

Professional Development Units (PDUs) Attendees may be eligible to apply for 4 PDUs toward their continuing education requirements with the Project Management Institute (PMI) for PMP®, PgMP®, and PMI-ACP® certifications.
